These terms set out the agreement between you and SPSV.IO. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable.
SPSV.IO is operated by Nasir Ahamed, a sole trader at 8 Ellwood Park, Ballymakenny Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth, A92 K5KR, Ireland. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that business, and "you" means the person using the service.
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not create an account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use SPSV.IO.
SPSV.IO is a record-keeping tool. It lets you record the money you take in and the money you spend, organise those records into categories, and produce summaries and an annual statement from them.
It is available through a website, an Android app, and an app for iPhone and iPad. All of them use the same account and the same records.
This matters, so it is stated plainly.
SPSV.IO does not provide tax, accounting, financial or legal advice. It records what you enter and adds it up. It does not calculate your tax liability, file returns on your behalf, or tell you what you may or may not claim.
The annual statement is a summary of what you have entered. Whether it is complete, accurate or suitable for any purpose depends entirely on what you put in. You are responsible for the accuracy of your own records and for meeting your obligations to the Revenue Commissioners.
For anything concerning your tax position, consult a qualified accountant or tax adviser.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
Your records are yours. We claim no ownership of the entries you create. We do not sell them, mine them, or use them for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
You can export a complete copy at any time from your account, and restore it whenever you like. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data, and our deletion page for how to remove it.
You can close your account yourself, from My account › Danger zone in the app or on the web. Doing so signs out every device at once and holds your records for 30 days before deleting them permanently; signing in during those 30 days cancels the closure.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you would not want to lose. We take backups for our own operational purposes, but they are not a substitute for your own.
SPSV.IO offers a six-month free trial. No payment details are required to start, and the trial does not convert to a paid subscription automatically - you choose whether to continue.
After the trial, a subscription costs €5 per month or €50 per year, VAT included. Prices may change; we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any change affects you, and you may cancel rather than accept it.
Subscriptions are not yet being charged. When they begin, the payment provider we use will be named on this page and in our Privacy Policy before any payment is taken.

We aim to keep the service running and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures outside our control.
The mobile apps can record entries without a connection and send them when one returns. That is a convenience, not a guarantee - if your phone is lost or damaged before entries have synced, those entries may be lost.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law are not affected.
Subject to that:
You may stop using SPSV.IO at any time. To close your account entirely, use My account › Danger zone in the app or on the web; our deletion page sets out what that removes, what is kept, and for how long.
We may end this agreement if you materially breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue it, we will give you at least 60 days' notice by email so that you can export your records.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the list below says what changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the law of the country in which you live.
