You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the period you have paid for ends. Nothing renews without you having chosen it.
SPSV.IO includes a six-month free trial. No card details are needed to start it, and there is nothing to cancel - the trial simply ends.
It does not turn into a paid subscription by itself. When it ends you decide whether to subscribe. If you do nothing, you are not charged.
The yearly option works out at a little over four months free compared with paying monthly.

Cancelling stops the subscription renewing. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. A monthly subscriber who cancels on the 3rd keeps access until the end of that month; a yearly subscriber keeps access until the anniversary.
Cancelling a subscription is not the same as deleting your account.
When a subscription ends, your account remains and your records stay in it. You can still sign in, read everything, and export a full copy. What stops is the ability to add new entries.
Export your records before you go if you want them: My account › Download my data, or Email my data to me. The file is standard JSON and is yours to keep.

Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, you generally have 14 days to change your mind about something bought at a distance, and to get your money back.
For digital services this right can be waived if you ask for the service to start immediately and acknowledge losing the right. We do not ask you to waive it.
So: if you subscribe and change your mind within 14 days, tell us and we will refund you in full. No reason needed. Email hello@spsv.io within 14 days of payment, and we will refund to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the request.
After the cooling-off period we do not usually refund part of a subscription period, because you keep access for the whole of it.
We will make exceptions, and we would rather you asked than assumed. In particular:
Email hello@spsv.io and explain what happened. This is a small business, not a call centre, and a fair request will get a fair answer.
If we discontinue SPSV.IO, we will give you at least 60 days' notice by email, so there is time to export your records, and refund the unused part of anything you have paid.
If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand by email. The new price applies from your next renewal. You can cancel instead of accepting it, and keep access until your current period ends.
